The idea round tells us what you plan to make. It doesn't need code yet: just your problem statement, a short deck on the official template, and a public post of your builder pass. This is an elimination round, so only shortlisted teams move on to the final submission.
Read the six briefs and choose the one your team will build for. Your choice is final once you submit it, and you build only for that problem, so pick the one you understand best. Read the problem statements.

Fill the template in with your idea and save it as a PDF or PPTX under 50 MB. Decks in any other format or template won't be accepted.
Create your pass, post it on LinkedIn or X, and copy the link to that post. This is required: your idea submission isn't complete without it. See how to make the post.
Open the AI Build Challenge on Unstop and go to the Idea Submission round. The form has three required fields. Submit before 12:00 PM IST on 27 September. The cutoff does not move.
Select exactly one. Once submitted, your choice is final and can't be changed, and you build only for that problem statement.
Only the official slide template from the hackathon page on Unstop is accepted. No other presentation format.
The link to your builder pass post. It must start with https:// and the post must be public.
Every registered builder can make a pass with their name, team and idea on it. Post it on LinkedIn or X, then paste the post link into your idea submission. One post per team is enough, and teammates are welcome to post their own.
Enter the email you registered with on Unstop. Your name, team and team ID fill in on their own.
Add your idea title and GitHub username, and choose the track for your problem statement.
Pick a mascot and a style. The preview updates as you go.
Keep the size on “The pass” and press Download PNG. That size works on both LinkedIn and X.
Fill in your idea and copy the caption for your platform. Add a line or two in your own words if you like, just keep the hashtag and the tag.
After pasting, type @Build Fast with AI and pick our page from the list. A pasted @ doesn't tag anyone on LinkedIn.

Then copy the link to your post and paste it into the idea submission round on Unstop.
If your idea is shortlisted, submit your finished project in the final submission round on Unstop, for the same problem statement you picked in the idea round. You'll need these five things.
A live URL judges can open and use. If it needs a login, add a test account in your submission.
Keep it public, with a README that explains how to set it up and run it.
Show the product working end to end. Upload to YouTube (unlisted is fine) or Google Drive shared as “Anyone with the link”.

Every AI tool, model, API, dataset and external resource you used. Using AI coding tools is allowed, just list them.
