The meeting focused on introducing the role of a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) and demonstrating how to build AI agents. Sakshi opened the session by welcoming participants and encouraging introductions in the chat. Satvik explained that FDE roles are growing rapidly while traditional tech roles decline, and he described an FDE as an engineer who embeds with clients to scope, build, and deploy AI solutions. He demonstrated a multi-agent orchestration system in Claude where three parallel agents performed research, website building, and competitor analysis. Satvik then walked through building a finance agent from scratch using a Python framework called Agno, adding an LLM, internet tools, Yahoo Finance tools, and agentic memory. He also showed how to use Claude Code to generate a landing page and deploy it via Vercel. Finally, Satvik presented the FDE Crash Course, which covers agent harnesses, agent-driven development, and capstone projects, and offered a limited-time discount to attendees.
